Cup & Saucer offers a very delicious vegan banana almond smoothie sweetened with dates. It is thick and hardy, a very satisfying natural treat for that sweet tooth.

I would like to give Cup and Saucer a Golden Carrot Award for making a healthy and delicious smoothie and for using compostable plastics made from corn (by eco-products). Many food establishments should follow their lead by offering healthy foods and using biodegradable products that are made from renewable resources.

Perhaps Cup & Saucer can offer more vegan items on their menu in the future. You can also enjoy a cup of organic Numi herbal or caffeinated tea. They offer soymilk and honey. I find the service slow at the Cup & Saucer located within Bestseller Book Store at GPO, but the baristas aim to satisfy, so it is worth the wait.
