Stop and Smell the Lemongrass at Thuy's Cafe!

I was marooned in Agana one day across from Chamorro Village, when I happened to see a beckoning sign saying "VEGETARIAN MENU" at Thuy's Cafe. They are located next to Bank of Hawaii and Shooters on Marine Drive. I also saw they were open everyday until 11pm and until 10pm on Sundays.

I spoke to the owner and chef, Helen, who says she likes to make vegetarian food. Be sure to tell her you want "monk's food" meaning no egg, milk, or oyster sauce for your dishes.

This dish was a tofu vegetable penang. She can make Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, and many other styles of food.

This restaurant is a family-owned business with a welcoming feel.

She can make a variety of dishes, and she gets the biggest kick out of tingling your taste buds. So give her a try, and tell her I sent you!
